The WIN master is not connected to a WIN slave.
Please note the safety instructions and system requirements.

Online Manual

Yes, you can read data into the WIN software via an XML interface. Online manual
Yes, you may choose between 4 transmission channels. You can operate one WIN master per channel. You do not have the full bandwidth (100 KHz) per channel. In the EU version, channel 1 operates on the frequency of 868.15 MHz, channel 2 on the frequency of 868.25 MHz, channel 3 on the frequency of 868.35 MHz and channel 4 on the frequency of 868.45 MHz. In the US version, channel 1 operates on the frequency of 912.997284 MHz, channel 2 on the frequency of 913.997040 MHz, channel 3 on the frequency of 915.996552 MHz and channel 4 on the frequency of 916.996307 MHz.
If the status of the signal tower changes, the WIN slave sends this new status to the WIN master within 3 seconds. If the signal status does not change, the WIN slave transmits the signal status every 12 seconds.
The cable length should not exceed 5 metres. The cable length can be increased via USB hubs.
Yes, you can export captured data via an XML interface for further processing. Online manual
If you use more than one WIN master on one channel, this may cause radio transmission problems between the systems. This will generate frequent connection errors. In this case the WIN masters needs to be operated on different frequencies (see chapter 8.2). Link to the manual: https://www.werma.com/gfx/file/WIN_Update/manual/en_en/
Every WIN slave possesses a repeater function, by which the range between the WIN master and the WIN slave can be increased. Every WIN slave can thereby establish a connection with the master via a maximum of two other WIN slaves (repeater).
Please check the following points:
• Check the routing module in the software.
• Check the cabling on the slave. Is there a loose contact?
• Is the machine on?
•  Is the radio connection disturbed by other devices transmitting in 868 MHz or 434 MHz?
• Has the channel on the MASTER been changed without re-teaching the slave?
You can do the following:
• Data will only be logged, whilst the WIN software is working. Make sure that this is the case during the monitoring period.
• Check the connection quality in the Routing Module. If there are red connection lines, you should use more WIN slaves as repeaters. Simply position a WIN slave at the critical location (Optimise transmission range see chapter 7.6.4) Online manual
• Ensure that a permanent 24V supply is connected to terminal 5 of each WIN slave.
Please check the following points:
• Ensure that the WIN software has been installed.
• Disconnect the EthernetMASTER from the power supply and reconnect it.
• Check the server services (WERMA Connector Service, WERMA Server Service, SQL Server).
• Check your network (firewall, network components, switch, network cables).
To install the software you need administration rights for your PC. Please contact your IT-administrator.
Up to 50 WIN slaves can be monitored with one WIN master. You can use 4 masters per database.
This may cause connection errors between the WIN slaves, as the channel will close at some point and interruptions will occur.
You can monitor up to 4 elements per WIN slave. (or with the help of the blinking recognition up to 8 statuses).
You can monitor up to 3 elements per WIN slave performance (or with the help of the blinking recognition up to 6 statuses). One tier of the WIN slave performance is necessary for the counter input. If you use the additional the job input on one tier, you can only monitor up to 2 elements or 4 statuses.
The WIN software can monitor up to 600 cycles per minute. It is important that the count output from the machine is set up correctly.
The WIN master has no connection to a WIN slave, but is connected to a PC and is receiving power.
No, a WIN slave performance always needs one tier allocated to the counter input.
The counting pulse can be a maximum of 10 Hz. Please observe the conditions from chapter 0 and 7.1.3.2 in the manual. Online manual
No, the blink recognition cannot be selected for the tier with a counter input and not for the tier with job input.
Yes, these are:
• „F1“ => opens the manual (see chapter 0)
• „F10“ => Job quick start (see chapter 7.4.3.2)
• „F11“ => Opens the Runtime Module (see chapter 7.3)

Online manual

We recommend the following:
• The PC and master to which it is connected must be on 24/7
• The PC where the database is installed must be on 24/7
• WIN WERMA 4 Server service and WERMA WIN connector service must be running
The service runs in the background as soon as the PC or Server hosting the database is turned on. The WIN data is written to the WIN database without the WIN software running or a user being logged on.
We recommend deactivation of the energy save and hibernate modes as follows:
• PC with the WIN database
• PC with the WERMA WIN 4 Server service
• PC with the WIN master (USB) connected to it.
WIN is equipped with several protection mechanisms, which prevent the transmissions being intercepted. In addition, confidential data from the WIN system will not transmitted wirelessly.
If the status of the signal tower changes, the WIN transmitter sends this new status to the WIN receiver within 5 seconds. If the signal status does not change, the WIN transmitter transmits the signal status every 15 seconds.
You can do the following:
• Data will only be logged, whilst the WIN software is working. Make sure that this is the case during the monitoring period.
• Check the connection quality in the Routing Module. If there are red connection lines, you should use more WIN transmitter as repeaters. Simply position a WIN transmitter at the critical location (Optimize transmission range see chapter 7.6.4).
• Ensure that a permanent 24V supply is connected to terminal 5 of each WIN transmitter.

Plug & Play - The CO2 traffic light is ready to use and can be connected to a conventional 230 V socket using the power supply unit supplied.
After a three-minute warm-up phase (green LED light element flashes), the CO2 traffic light is ready for operation and measurement, green LED light element switches to a continuous green light.
As CO2 is spread quite homogeneously throughout a room, one CO2 traffic light is generally sufficient for rooms of 80 to 100 square meters or 861 to 1.076 square foot. For rooms as large as a sports hall, two to four CO2 traffic lights should be installed. A further parameter is also the room layout, so that no general statement can be made regarding the number of CO2 traffic lights to be used. We are pleased to be available for advice.
Ready-assembled signal tower (green/yellow/red) with CO2 sensor element as well as mounting material (stand for table installation) and power supply unit with 1.5 m cable length for a conventional 230 V socket.
The CO2 traffic light is suitable for both applications. If it is only switched on when the room is used, a longer service life can be assumed.
Nevertheless, the CO2 traffic light can also be disconnected from the power supply as required (e.g. in the evening). The warm-up phase (3 min, green LED light element flashes) is started when the system is put into operation again and the power supply is restored.
The CO2 traffic light should not be installed higher than 2 m above the floor and not directly next to the window. Furthermore, the CO2 traffic light should not be exposed to direct air draughts.
Reasons for this may be...
• The CO2 sensor element is in calibration mode (switch position is set to „CAL“) and calibration is complete.
• The switch has not been moved back to „USE“, however.
• The device is not supplied with voltage (check the mains plug and the connection plug-socket of the CO2 traffic light).
• Communication with the sensor has failed, the device is damaged.
The CO2 traffic light does not have to be calibrated manually, the CO2 sensor element calibrates itself automatically every 24h (switch position is set to“USE“). This is based on the assumption that the indoor air is sufficiently aired once every 24h that the CO2 concentration in the room air has fallen below 400 ppm (~ value of the outside air). The lowest measured value is used for calibration.
Manual calibration can be used if the traffic light shows unclear results.
Perform manual calibration in a very well aired room.
The CO2 traffic light is in manual calibration mode (switch position is set to „CAL“). Note: Before and during calibration the CO2 traffic light must be in a very well ventilated room (400 ppm = value of the outside air).
Notice:
The CO2 traffic light should be placed in a very well ventilated room for 30-60 minutes (400 ppm ~
value of the outside air).
1. disconnect the CO2 traffic light from the power supply.
2. remove the CO2 sensor element (black element) (no tools required).
3. set the switch position in the CO2 sensor element to „CAL“ (see labeling on the board „CAL“ and „USE“).
4. put the CO2 sensor element back on the connection element (observe white mounting markings) and reconnect it to the power supply.
5. after the warm-up phase (flashing green) the calibration follows (running light). When calibration is complete, all LED lighting elements turn off.
6. remove the CO2 sensor element (black element) (no tools required).
7. set the switch position in the CO2 sensor element to „USE“ (see labeling on the board „CAL“ and „USE“).
8. put the CO2 sensor element back on the connection element (observe white mounting markings) and reconnect it to the power supply.
9. Normal operation is possible again and the CO2 traffic light measures the CO2 concentration in the room.
Notice:
The CO2 traffic light is delivered from in „auto calibration“ mode.
1. disconnect the CO2 traffic light from the power supply.
2. remove the CO2 sensor element (black element) (no tools required).
3. set the switch position in the CO2 sensor element to „USE“ (see labeling on the board „CAL“ and „USE“).
4. put the CO2 sensor element back on the connection element (observe white mounting markings) and reconnect it to the power supply.
5. Normal operation is possible again and the CO2 traffic light measures the CO2 concentration in the room.
The CO2 concentration is measured every 4 seconds.
Yes, the CO2 traffic light can also be mounted on the wall using a mounting bracket - article number 975.883.41.
The built-in CO2 sensor uses an optical measuring method with infrared light.
The infrared light source ages during operation, this ageing is compensated by the sensor calibration
In this case, reconnect the power supply and start the calibration again.
Check the mains plug and the plug/socket connection of the CO2 traffic light.
With the sensors used, a service life of more than 5 years can be achieved. The sensor cannot be replaced.
