Strong Trade Fair Spring Season

WERMA displays innovation leadership at Achema and Hanover Trade Fairs

This spring WERMA made a strong showing at the industry trade fairs. Together with a new look, the signalling technology manufacturer exhibited a record number of new innovations at two international trade fairs in April and May.

WERMA demonstrates market leadership in Hanover
One in four of the visitors to the WERMA stand in Hanover were from overseas. The Deutsche Messe AG recorded equally high numbers of foreign visitors. Wolfram von Fritsch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Messe AG was happy to report that “In light of the restrictive travel guidelines in many companies this number was well above our expectations.”
In Hanover WERMA Signaltechnik presented a record number of innovations – for example the “Multicolour” beacon which can be illuminated in all imaginable colours via USB connection.
Signalling devices, recently commended for their design, were also on show: the small LED traffic light 494/894, which won the “iF product design award 2009“, as well as the flash/multi-tone sounder 444 which received an honourable mention at the “red dot award 2009“.

Explosion protected signal devices at the ACHEMA
For the first time in its history WERMA exhibited at the ACHEMA in Frankfurt, a specialist trade fair for chemical technology, environmental protection and biotechnology. International visitors displayed a keen interest in the audible and optical signal devices for explosion hazardous areas. The ACHEMA was the first step in the company’s plan to make further inroads into the “explosion protection” sector.

Effective trade fair presentation
Also new in this year’s trade fair spring season was WERMA Signaltechnik’s fresh, transformed look. At its new, open trade fair stand, the company presented a world of experience for the eyes, ears and sense of touch – inviting visitors to playfully explore the range of blinking and honking products.
In the new lounge the WERMA team provided professional advice to visiting customers.

Despite the economic crisis, the Southern German company demonstrated its claim to market leadership amongst the signalling technology manufacturers at the international trade fairs in Hanover and Frankfurt.
