LED Beacon 280: Now available with LED Double Flash and LED EVS Light effects

The Beacon Series 280 from WERMA stands out from the competition thanks to its clear, modern design, its light intensive signal and a wide range of different light variants: In addition to the existing LED Permanent and LED Rotating Signal Beacons, LED Double-Flash and LED EVS Beacons are now available.

All versions are equipped with integrated LEDs which light up in the same colour as the dome, resulting in a light intensive signal and a life duration of up to 50,000 hours.

Whether inside or outside – reliable LED Beacons from the 280 series
The LED Permanent Beacons with a diameter of 142 mm and a height of 216 mm can be simply and easily mounted onto machines, brackets or tubes. With their high protection rating IP 65, the light intensive LED Beacons provide reliable service both inside and outside. Furthermore, the new LED Beacons are impact resistant up to 20 Joule.

LED Double Flash Beacon 280
The new LED Double Flash Beacon 280 is equipped with a light intensive double flash which has the added advantage of an extremely low current consumption. Thanks to the triggering of two flashes in short succession, it is capable of generating an extremely high light intensity of up to 185 Candela.

LED EVS Beacon 280
The new LED EVS Beacon 280 employs the stochastic, chaotic random flickering light EVS (Enhanced Visibility System). This technology has been developed by WERMA on a neurobiological basis and succeeds in generating an optimal attention level never previously reached by existing signal devices.

WERMA employs light emitting diodes for its EVS system. A microprocessor triggers random light signals, which make the light appear extremely “agitated”, thus generating a continuously high attention level amongst those in the vicinity – even when viewed out the corner of the eye.
