Skanska’s manufacturing division faced the challenge that there was hardly any reliable production data available. Whilst processes could be carried out, they could not be systematically analysed or optimised. Furthermore, a new digital solution had to be introduced in an environment characterised by initial scepticism towards monitoring and transparency.
