How do I install WeASSIST as a progressive web app?
You can also install WERMA WeASSIST as a progressive web app on your computer. A progressive web app (PWA) is a website that looks and behaves like a mobile app. PWAs are created to take advantage of the native attributes of mobile devices without having to visit an app store, make a purchase, and download software locally. WeASSIST launches like a regular desktop application after installation. However, an internet connection is still required to retrieve the data.
Install PWA via Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome on the computer
- Go to the weassist.werma.com website
- Click "Install" in the top right corner of the address bar
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the PWA
- Open Microsoft Edge on the computer
- Go to the weassist.werma.com website
- Now, click on the top right menu of Edge browser and select "Apps"
- Click on "Install this site as an app"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the PWA
