Manual packing and shipping stations are very important and critical for the fulfillment process in distribution and warehouse centers. It is important that disruptions such as missing material, problems and supervisor calls can be indicated visually. Using a simple Call-for-Action System, employees can indicate any unexpected disruptions by pushing a button. This notification can be sent via E-Mail or text to the responsible person for a quick response time while documenting the conditions at each manual station. Permanent time savings are possible including an improved problem solving approach that results to more “units per hour.”
