WeASSIST

WeASSIST is a cloud solution, so a local installation is not necessary. The software can be accessed either via the browser or via the app.

The cloud solution can be accessed either via a link in your browser (https://weassist.werma.com/) or via the app.

WeASSIST data is available at any time and from any location.

The WeASSIST transmitters (transceivers) in the signal tower communicate with the receiver (gateway) via encrypted industrial radio frequency (868 MHz or 921 MHz).

The gateway is operated using a 230 V power supply unit. The connection to the cloud is established with the Internet via Ethernet. Detailed configuration options can be found in the gateway setup manual.

The WeASSIST hardware communicates via an AES-128 encrypted industrial radio frequency (868 MHz or 921 MHz).

Yes, WeASSIST has a fully comprehensive user management system. This allows you to define roles and assign users a specific role including rights. You also have the option of defining one or more administration users.

As an administration user, you have the option of inviting and adding further users to WeASSIST independently and without prior enquiry to WERMA.

WeASSIST has an Active Directory, i.e. you can log in with your conventional Microsoft account, which you use to log in to your laptop etc. in the morning, for example. In addition, there is the option of logging in via a local user, i.e. you can create an account with WeASSIST that is separate from your Microsoft account.

No, no programming knowledge is required to configure and set up WeASSIST. It is an intuitive and user-friendly interface that can be customised according to the application.

The WERMA signal tower serves as the interface for data collection. This enables the simple integration of machines, systems or manual workstations of any kind, regardless of the manufacturer. The transmitter of the signal tower sends information to the receiver (gateway) as to which signal level is currently active. This information is transferred to the cloud by the receiver and processed with the configurations made in the software.

WeASSIST has a range of 300 metres between the transmitter and receiver (free field). In addition, the transmitters have a repeater function so that the radio signal of a transmitter can be amplified twice by other transmitters in the vicinity and thus increased to a range of 900 metres.

Any number of additional gateways (receivers) can be added to WeASSIST. For example, additional production halls or even nested production halls can be integrated and a stable wireless network can be guaranteed.

Signal Towers or Stack Lights

With the modular signal tower or stack light, you can individually configure your signal tower. The signal tower consists of several elements that simply connect to one another. You can design the order, colours and light effects according to your own requirements.

Yes, in addition to modular signal towers or stack lights, WERMA also offers pre-configured signal towers in its product portfolio. These are already fully assembled and ready for immediate use, which saves time and effort during installation. These pre-configured variants are available in different versions, combining different colours and signal effects to meet various application requirements.

Due to design differences, the KombiSIGN 70 and KombiSIGN 71/72 are not compatible with each other.

A maximum of five tiers (lighting elements) can be combined for the KombiSIGN 71/72.

Yes, WERMA offers a range of solutions for networking signal towers, also known as stack lights, with each other. For further information, please contact us at systems@werma.com.

The eSIGN signal tower is a new electronic modular signal tower that sets new standards in the areas of visibility, individuality and efficiency. The eSIGN can be individually customised in a variety of ways thanks to its different modes and light effects. All important parameters (mode, colour, light effect, volume, etc.) can be customised in the software or via an IO-Link master.

Optics und Acoustics

Yes, we can provide you with light values for our optical signalling devices on request.

Yes, the WERMA product portfolio includes a range of different multicolour LED products.

EVS from WERMA Signaltechnik stands for Enhanced Visibility System, designed to increase attention and awareness.

Compared to conventional constant light signals, the EVS generates irregular, pulsating light impulses. These unpredictable light patterns automatically attract the attention of the observer. The signal is perceived more quickly and effectively, which can be of great importance in emergencies or critical situations.

TwinLIGHT offers two different light functions in a single device, a continuous light and a flashing light.

TwinFLASH, on the other hand, combines a flashing light and a strobe light in a single signalling device.

dB (A) = sound pressure measurement at a distance of 1 m.

dB (B) = sound pressure measurement at a distance of 10 cm.

Yes, the volume of several WERMA acoustic products can be adjusted either remotely or manually on the product itself. In addition, the volume of various acoustic products can be adjusted using a potentiometer.

Yes, so-called voice output elements complement the range of acoustic signalling devices. These enable the reproduction of individual audio files (sounds, melodies and spoken texts).

Electronics and Control

Positive logic: In this case, the positive pole is also the ground, i.e. the control is via the negative pole.

Negative logic: In this case, the negative pole is also the ground, i.e. the control is via the positive pole.

No, WERMA signal devices cannot be controlled by analogue signals.

WERMA signal devices can be controlled in different ways. In addition to control via classic pin assign-ment (wiring), WERMA also offers other interfaces:

  • IO-Link
  • ASi
  • USB

Yes, WERMA offers a range of button boxes for wired and wireless triggering of signal towers.

Safety und Quality

Yes, in conjunction with a corresponding safety switching device, WERMA products achieve performance level e or safety category 4.

Yes, MTTFd values are available for a range of products.

Yes, some WERMA signal devices have cleanroom approval.

In principle, all WERMA products can be used in continuous operation or permanently. Exceptions to this are the electro-mechanical buzzers and horns, which have restrictions. In this case, please note the information on the duty cycle (ED).

Type A is a low-intensity LED obstacle light, permanently red in colour, used as night-time lighting on fixed obstacles, with an intensity of ≥ 10 cd.

Type B (includes Type A) is a low-intensity LED obstacle light, permanently red as night-time lighting on fixed obstacles, with an intensity of ≥ 32 cd.
