How do I make light patterns readable for me?

In order to analyze the meanings of their light pattern, use different widgets based on attributes, receive push notifications and configure Head Of Line rules, they need to assign the appropriate attributes to their light pattern. When analyzing, they look at the attributes of a light pattern, when using different widgets, they determine the prioritization and behaviour based on the attributes, sending the push notifications is triggered by applied attributes, and when using the Head of Line, the underlying attributes are the triggers to realize switching of the tower.

To assign attributes to a light pattern, proceed as follows:

  • Go to the "Administration à Devices" device page, select the device whose light patterns you want to assign attributes to and open the light pattern.
  • In the following window you will see a section "Attributes" in the lower part. Here you open with a click on "+" the selection of the attributes created before.
  • Attributes WeASSIST
  • The attributes are sorted by categories and can be selected or deselected with a click.
  • Choose Attributes WeASSIST
  • If you have forgotten something when creating the categories and attributes, you can also add new attributes to a category directly within this window ("+" next to the category). It is also possible to create a new category within the window.
  • Create Category WeASSIST
  • If you have assigned all relevant attributes to your light pattern, you can save the selection and the light pattern appears with the assigned attributes in the list of light pattern.
  • Available Light Patterns WeASSIST

Tips:

  • If you want to configure several towers in the same way and provide them with the same light pattern and attributes, we recommend configuring one tower completely, providing it with light pattern and attributes and then transferring them to other towers using the "Copy configuration" function.
