Task
IC Automation wanted to increase the efficiency of its manual workstations and reduce unnecessary walking distances for employees. A lack of data made it difficult to analyze the production processes and prevented targeted optimizations. A solution had to create transparency and enable simple data evaluation.

Solution
IC Automation implemented the cloud-based WeASSIST solution from WERMA. Signal towers display the current status of all manual workstations and machines. Employees can request support at the touch of a button. In addition, WERMA transceivers and Andon boxes transmit real-time data directly to the WeASSIST software. This means that processes are transparent and controllable at all times and extensive analyses are possible.
